M114 A1 CRV The M114A armored reconnaissance vehicle is a tracked vehicle designed to assist the command and reconnaissance missions of the M113, and was used by the United States during the Vietnam War. This vehicle could float, and could also be air-dropped with a parachute. The M114 was retired in 1973, and was used by police departments such as the New York Police Department after a small number of vehicles were released. The M114 A1 is a type equipped wiht a commander's cupola and a weapon station that can fire a 12.7mm M2 heavy machine gun from the inside, and the M114A1E1 had a small turret equipped with an M139 20mm machine gun (instead of the M2).
